Since having been elected Miss Tuning World 2003 and her subsequent career as host of multiple tuning- and automotive TV shows, Katharina Kuhlmann has become an epitome of tuning- and customizing scene in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
As the so called Scene Angel she hosted the successful German TV show Tuning TV (2004 -2006) and won the hearts of the tuning community. Since three years she hosts the ´Gummiplatz´ (Tire Burnout and Action Event) during the world’s biggest GTI-Volkswagen encounter at the Wörthersee in Austria. In 2007 she played the same role as X-Zibit in the Swiss answer to Pimp my ride on MTV and was also featured on the cover of the October issue of the German Playboy magazine.
On the German sports TV-channel DSF she hosted the Ebay-Tuning-Cup in 2008 and subsequently founded Kuhlmann Productions in 2009.
During the summer of 2010 she started her debut as producer and broadcasted the first season of the TV quiz show The Car Maniac on SPORT1. During twelve episodes „the Car Maniac“ quiz show candidates have to give proof of their expertise in cars. They are tested and put on the spot in various areas concerning the world of cars and are generously rewarded.
Currently Katharina presents the car magazine TURBO TOP 10 on SPORT1 and also reports live from the MOTO GP for channel SPORT1.
Katharina Kuhlmann succeeded in making available otherwise extremely exclusive design and effect paints to a wider audience by forming KK Colors, whose products were launched via the broadcast of KK Colors tv raffle on the occasion of her „Car Maniac“ quiz show.
